Run experiential learning programs for youths and working adults to build empathy. We also partner charities to do asset based community development work, support low-incomes families, elderly and visually impaired.
Co-revise a culinary curriculum with my visually impaired volunteer. The curriculum is written in UK to train the blind how to cook and bake hence need to adapt to Singapore’s kitchen culture. Conduct cooking and baking trials to test proof the revised curriculum and thereafter conduct weekly culinary class for a pioneer group of 4-8 visually impaired trainees. Conducting culinary classes in the sense of cooking or baking the dish for the visually impaired to smell, taste and feel the food texture so that during practical the visually impaired will be able to use their other senses to perfect the recipe
Have interest in cooking and baking and is already a home cook and baker.
