Luxe Botanics is on a mission to revolutionise the green beauty industry and we are looking for an intrepid, imaginative storyteller to immerse themselves into our small, but mighty team. If you are fluent in the language of digital marketing, love social media, design, photography and videography, with strong analytical research skills and want to join an exciting Indie Beauty brand that believes in the transformative power of science and nature, then this is the job for you.
 The Digital Marketing & eCommerce Manager will be responsible for coordinating and executing strategies to acquire, convert and retain customers through Luxe Botanics’ social media strategy; creative content creation; driving traffic to ecommerce and marketplace channels; and conducting analytical reviews to enable agile decision making. This role will be instrumental in increasing our social media engagement and following, generating brand awareness and driving traffic to ecommerce and marketplace channels for conversion to sales.

Key Skills Required
  • Experience managing branded social media channels aligned to brand identity and marketing strategy
  • Creative talent with a strong sense aesthetics, graphic design and asset creation skills
  • Excellent communication skills and grammar, fluent in English, a love for writing and experience tailoring communication styles for different audiences
  • Experience in crafting cross channel customer acquisition, conversion and retention strategies
  • ECommerce platform and Amazon marketplace optimisation and management experience
  • Experience with SEO, SEM, PPC and cross channel advertising strategies
  • Email marketing strategy and campaign execution experience
  • An analytical mind that likes to research, query, learn and pivot strategy as necessary
  • Passion for green beauty, sustainability and giving back to local communities
  • Strong team player who is responsible, able to work independently and meet deadlines
  • An ability to adapt to change and jump on opportunities as and when they arise

Responsibilities

Social Media Management
  • Manage social media accounts to plan and maintain a social media calendar that aligns with marketing strategy while ensuring content and tone of voice relevancy for each channel
  • Keep up to date with social media trends, algorithm changes, new features that affect our engagement and following
  • Compile monthly reports to analyse social media presence, determine efficacy of strategy and identify areas for improvement against baseline targets
  • Repurpose content from our social media channels and blogs and other industry sources
  • Identify and monitor key industry bloggers, trade journalists and influencers to aggregate interesting content
  • Develop and execute a strategy to increase engagement and followers across all channels

Creative Content Creation
  • Create engaging, innovative content through use of photos, videos, GIFs, etc. in line with brand persona and moodboard
  • Work with Chief of Relationships to create channel-specific campaigns (e.g. video tutorials for YouTube, IGTV, IG highlights)
  • Source images for and upload company blog posts in WordPress and Shopify
  • Creation of marketing collateral in line with campaign strategy to support retailer activations

​ECommerce & Marketplace Management
  • Creating, executing and optimizing website content and experience across Shopify and Amazon Marketplace (Seller Central) reducing bounce rates, increasing customer dwell time, acquisition, conversion rates and retention
  • Manage customer automation email series to optimise Shopify conversion rate
  • Knowledge of personalisation and split testing
  • Implement Shopify pop ups and banners to enhance campaign objectives
  • Amazon product and review management to enhance listings and improve rankings
  • Review ecommerce and marketplace analytics to further refine strategy to drive traffic
  • Uniform content and tone of voice on landing pages to strengthen brand identity
  • Affiliate program management to drive sales

Advertising Management
  • Utilizing defined demographics, competition, and keywords execute social media advertising strategy across relevant channels and in line with campaign strategy
  • Implement SEO, SEM, and PPC to drive traffic to ecommerce and marketplace channels
  • Execute monthly email campaigns per marketing strategy

Invest In Own Knowledge
  • Keep up to date with digital marketing trends and insights

Tools
  • Social media: Hootsuite, Planoly, Canva, Social Bakers, ManageFlitter, Webflow, Technorati, wefollow, Twitgroups
  • ECommerce: Shopify, Amazon Seller Central, Refersion Affiliate Management, Mailchimp
  • Graphic design: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Final Cut Pro and/or Adobe Premiere Pro
  • Project Management: Asana, Evernote
  • Execution: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Drive, Google docs, sheets, DropBox
  • Meetings: Zoom, Skype, Slack
