Translators play a key role in our service delivery. They translate our English-medium programmes to connect with our multi-lingual service users. They support us in building good relationships, and ensuring open and effective lines of communication.
Our Family Journey Programme supports couples in transnational relationships. We offer a range of programmes to help them integrate into the community, and begin a healthy and enriching life in Singapore.
We are looking for translators in Bahasa (Indonesian), Vietnamese, Thai and Chinese. If you are fluent in any of these languages (or you know of someone who is), join us to make a positive difference in these young couples’ lives!
For more information on the roles or to find out other ways you can support, visit our website or email us.

Location: Site Specific Event - factories in Sungei Kadut Singapore
Time commitment: 6 hours of training (broken down into 3 sessions), plus a minimum of 3 full days of volunteering during event

OH! Open House is an non-profit arts organisation that tells alternative stories of Singapore through art. Since 2009, we have provided more than 20,000 people with the unique experience of appreciating art and heritage outside of museums and galleries – from strangers’ homes to underutilised public spaces. Our annual artwalks have always been made possible by the help of volunteer guides and crew, who continue these discussions of bigger themes uncovered by OH! beyond our programs.

Through our diverse programmes, OH! creates opportunities to understand and connect with the disappearing places, communities and people of Singapore on a more meaningful level. This year, we will be holding our biggest ever art walk in the abandoned factories of Sungei Kadut, and talking about man's relationship with nature in a world faced with climate change.

1. OH! SUPERGUIDES
Lead visitors on an art tour around the sites & introduce artworks that reveal the forgotten stories of Singapore's timber industry and how man's relationship with nature will undergo changes in the face of climate change.

2. OH! SUPPORT CREW
Be in charge of ticketing and logistics from behind the scenes.Anyone! We will provide relevant training for the various roles, how to talk and engage with art, and other support that volunteers will need.OH! Open House wants to continue telling the stories of disappearing places, communities and people of Singapore through art in an ever-changing city, and bring on discussions to a wide audience about bigger themes such as man's relationship with nature.
