The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) has a mission to promote kindness and prevent cruelty to animals through education, advocacy and action.

Prerequisites:

• Applicant must be at least 17 years of age in order to volunteer in the shelter.
• New volunteers have to be able to commit for at least 4 months consecutively, on a weekly or fortnightly basis.
• Must be comfortable with speaking to the public.

Duties of Merchandise Sales:

• Manning the SPCA merchandise stalls at various events and location (e.g. schools)

Timing/ commitment:

• Shift times vary depending upon the event (maximum 4 hours).
• Ad hoc.
