Description:
We are a Family Service Centre who works with over 500 families from low income groups. As a voluntary welfare organisation, we work closely with volunteers to support the work that we do with the families and in particular the children.
Key responsibilities:
- Volunteer will help to guide 2 siblings who are studying in one of the local Primary schools in learning the English Language. Sessions will be held once a week, on Saturdays from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in the English language.
- Enjoy working with children. Patience to work with children from challenging family backgrounds. Advantageous if the volunteer is able to befriend the children and instill in them a positive attitude towards learning.
